Where Has the Year Gone?

I am sure it was summer last week… and I’m not commenting on the weather.

This year has flown by, as they all seem to any more.  This has been a busy year at Community Real Estate.  The name change being just one of the latest events.

It has also been a very busy year in the real estate market, with lots of competition for homes, rises in prices, and lack of homes to sell to all our clients.

As a company we have hosted career nights, encouraging individuals to join our profession, celebrated successes with our sales representatives, and participated in our community.

As a group, we have been involved in a number of events such as; collecting dresses for the Prom Project – helping teens find that perfect dress/shoes/purse/suit for the party, collecting treasures from our own homes and those of our customers and clients to host a garage sale to raise funds for families at Christmas, soliciting items for our annual silent and live auction to raise funds for families at Christmas, collecting non-perishable food items for Neighbour to Neighbour, and sponsoring the Locke Street Music Festival, just to name a few.

Just last week, the elves around here were busy wrapping Christmas gifts and delivering them to our Christmas families.

All of these events and causes that we get involved in, provide a feeling of satisfaction to our group. We all believe in giving back to the community that provides us with our ability to make a living, by helping people buy and sell homes.

Like more of you, we have already started planning for 2016.  I am sure it will be an eventful year (they all are), and this time next year we will all be wondering where the time went…
